Research Administrators' Network
The IARU Research Administrator's Network has been established to strengthen the support for the academic community across the IARU universities.
Scope
The aim is to play an influential role in the enhancement of research collaboration. Current topics being discussed within the network are barriers for research mobility, global funding opportunities and staff exchange.
Activities
The group meets regularly to network, share best practices and work towards simplifying research administration processes.
In order to facilitate work across universities, the network created two distinctive tools: a Lexicon on the terms used in research management as each institution uses quite different terms, and a template joint agreement (PDF / Word) among the IARU partners on the mobility of young researchers under the European Marie Curie Programme.
-
Lexicon
This Lexicon contains a list of phrases used in research, research projects and research administration which have different meanings and interpretations in different countries. -
Researchers' Mobility Agreement
Within the Marie Curie European Programme
A joint agreement template for researchers' mobility among the IARU partners in the framework of the European Marie Curie Programme.
