NUS - IPSA Summer School of Social Science Research Methods

The IPSA-NUS Summer School of Social Science Research Methods brings world-class international scholars to teach students cutting-edge social science methodology. In its 13th year running, the programme offers a wide variety of basic to advanced courses in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methods. All courses focus on both the theory and practice of social science research and are especially suitable for advanced undergraduate students, graduate students, academic faculty, government policymakers, civil society leaders and even private sector entrepreneurs.

NUS - Enterprise Summer Programme in Entrepreneurship

08 - 19 July 2024

Hosted by the National University of Singapore

The NUS Enterprise Summer Programme in Entrepreneurship is a two-week, intensive programme with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, offering participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the venture creation process, gain insights into the startup ecosystems in Singapore and Southeast Asia, as well as build connections with peers from the region and beyond. Participants will enjoy a comprehensive educational experience through an enriching blend of lectures, panel sharing, ideation and pitching sessions, workshops, as well as learning journeys.

NUS - FASStrack Asia: The Summer School

01 - 19 July 2024

Hosted by the National University of Singapore

A 3-week summer programme based in NUS UTown. FASStrack taps into NUS research strengths in the region and offers Asia-themed courses across disciplines to enrich students’ knowledge and understanding of various regional topics and issues. Students get to attend classes held in a dynamic and multicultural learning environment with NUS and international students. Courses may include local field trips to facilitate experiential learning outside the classroom. In addition, students have opportunities to explore and learn more about Singapore’s culture and heritage through social events.

NUS - Global Science Summer Programme (GSSP)

 

Session: 1 July – 19 July 2024

Hosted by the National University of Singapore

The Global Science Summer Programme is a holistic programme that allows students to increase their subject knowledge through a multidisciplinary approach, while also introducing Singapore’s diverse culture and cuisine to international students. It is the perfect programme for undergraduate students to broaden their academic and cultural horizons.

Target Audience

Undergraduate and Master's students. 

*The courses are taught at the undergraduate level (Year 1-Year 4), but we are open to Master’s students applying.

NUS - School of Computing Summer Workshop

The NUS School of Computing (SoC) Summer Workshop (SWS) is SoC’s annual flagship programme, designed as a hands-on, project-based programme to impart the most sought-after skills and knowledge in Computing today. It will cover topics like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Visual Computing, Robotics and Deep Learning, Game Development, Analytics, Media, Internet of Things, etc. Participants can look forward to a unique and immersive learning experience, combining highly interactive classes with practical projects to integrate theory with real work applications.

Target Audience

For undergraduates majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or other related disciplines.
