(Online) UC Berkeley Summer Sessions

UC Berkeley Summer Sessions offers more than 600 courses each summer over seven different sessions. The first session usually begins end of May, and all sessions end by mid-August. More than 16,000 students attend UC Berkeley in the summer, and nearly 4,000 of those are visitors. IARU students are invited to participate in Berkeley Summer Sessions classes and receive a waiver of the international service fee.

Besides open enrollment, several options are available to visiting students including summer-only certificates, English as a Second Language, online courses, and pre-college programs for high school students.

Enrollment/applications open in January/February.
