Announcement: At the Association of International Education Administrator's Annual Conference on 19 February 2013, Dr Jane Edwards, Mr Bart Meehan and Prof Anne Pakir gave a presentation on "The Power of the Personal: The Multilateral Collaboration and Mobility" featuring the GSP as a successful case study. Click here for a copy of their presentations.

The Global Summer Program (GSP) is an exciting learning experience that connects university students with outstanding peers from around the world.  Applications for 2013 are open from 7 January until 1 March.

The GSP is a flagship initiative of the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU), offering a unique opportunity to interact with some of the best students from our ten IARU partners. Classes are rigorous and intense.  At the GSP, participants have the unique opportunity to come together to explore and discuss challenges of the 21st Century that most often require multi-disciplinary approaches. These courses are in line with IARU's commitment to nurture future generations of leaders.

As a signal of strength in the program, scholarships are available for students, including the IARU-Santander mobility grants.  As the GSP continues to grow, the program will see more linkages with existing IARU Research Initiatives (e.g. IARU Security Group and Ageing, Longevity & Health) and faculty exchanges to co-teach various GSP courses.

Find out more about GSP and IARU from these web pages. Interested participants can also contact the GSP coordinators or This email address is being protected from spambots. IARU students will also be interested to learn more about the IARU Global Internship Program where they can pick up research or work skills at a partner university.
